Brisbane Quarter, a $1 billion mixed-use project which commenced construction works in early 2015, is now taking shape in Brisbane’s CBD.

This ambitious precinct owned by Shayher Group occupies an entire city block and is Brisbane’s first integrated mixed-use project which includes three towers;

The One (Tower 1) is an 82 storey residential tower comprising 467 apartments, situated on the corner of North Quay and Adelaide Street, and designed by Zenx Architects. It will become Brisbane’s second tallest building when completed.

The W Hotel (Tower 2) opened recently in June 2018 and will include 312 hotel rooms, presidential and executive suites, and a health spa with pools.

300 George St (Tower 3) is a 40 storey state-of-the-art commercial office tower – a high end retail shopping mall, it will include a master ballroom, and conference facilities.

Retail stores are proposed for underneath the towers on the first three floors.

Brookfield Multiplex have been engaged to complete the first stage which includes a 7 storey basement car park, retail and hotel facilities, and the W Hotel tower. The first tenants have already moved in and begun operations.

Tenants will have direct access to a range of business and leisure venues. These include an exciting food and beverage precinct with alfresco dining overlooking the Brisbane River, meeting and conference facilities, premium accommodation, exciting bars and restaurants, two levels of spa facilities at the W Hotel, and a rooftop park land on level 4.

“George Street has an exciting future in Brisbane with both Brisbane Quarter and Queens Wharf development injecting $4 billion worth of investment into this location. Some of Australia’s largest corporate organisations are already in this precinct and we expect this new investment activity to drive further tenant activity,” said Mr Curtain.
